Vaughn is a mostly suburban area with a diverse, multi-cultured population. The recently opened Vaughan Metropolitan Centre serves as the city’s downtown core. This vibrant new addition features residential condos, office towers, retail stores, parks, pedestrian paths and a subway station. As a city, Vaughan hosts a wonderful collection of diverse restaurants, beautiful parks, and fun recreational facilities. They also have a vibrant arts scene (see the McMichael Canadian Art Collection) family-orientated neighbourhoods, a robust public transit system, and a state-of-the-art hospital.
